Dear Students and Families,

Welcome to South Avondale Middle School, where every step is fueled by intention. A culture built on P.U.R.P.O.S.E (Passion, Understanding, Resilience, Possibilities, Opportunities, Service, and Empowerment) with P.U.R.P.O.S.E. Our students now have a space to make meaningful connections through mentorship, clubs, and extracurricular activities. Our students will go on a journey of self discovery by engaging in community service, social emotional learning, and career exploration, specifically focused on career technology and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math). We have a team that is ready to unlock the academic potential of every child by providing high quality instruction, daily intervention and enrichment, and extended learning opportunities that are tailored to meet the needs of every child.

As your leader, you can expect me to be visible within our communities and our classrooms, work collaboratively, maintain high expectations for all stakeholders, and to do what’s in the best interest of our children.
